Horse and House Sitting

Do you worry about leaving your precious animals with someone who might not understand Natural Horsemanship?  Are you concerned that they might not fully comply with your wishes that they wait for permission before they halter your horse? Or even that they might not know how to put on the natural halter at all?!

 

Now you can leave your animals, secure in the knowledge that they will be cared for not only exactly as you'd wish, but more importantly, exactly how THEY'D wish!

 

I'm available for short or long term horse or house sitting.  I can look after your other animals and plants, and make sure your house is exactly how you'd want it to be on your return. 

 

I can even undertake exercise and/or NH training whilst you're away.  

 

Prices and services

 

Horse Sitting only (price per day)

Stabled horses £20 each for the first 2 horses, then £10 for each additional horse. 
Non-stabled horses £10 each for the first 2 horses, then £5 for each additional horse. 
Grooming £5 per full groom
Exercise/NH Training £15 per session

House Sitting (per day)

Base Price £60
Bank Holidays and busy periods £70
Includes up to 2 stabled or 4 non-stabled horses, and up to 5 cats, dogs or other small domestic animals
Additional stabled horses £8.50 each
Additional non=stabled horses £5 each
Grooming £5
Exercise/NH Training £15 per session

How it works

 

I'll meet you for a commitment-free initial first visit to find out your individual requirements. This visit is also intended for you to see how I interact with your animals.  

 

I'll watch how you handle your horses and ask you for full details of how you'd like me to handle them.  Any quirks/training issues etc can be discussed at this point.  

 

If you wish to confirm a booking, I'll take full details of each horse/animal's needs and fill in the necesary forms with details of your vet/farrier etc.  We'll confirm the dates and costs. I'll also take a 25% non-refundable* deposit at this point.  

 

 

 

Cancellation Policy

 

If you cancel more than 6 weeks in advance, no charge will be made and your deposit will be returned in full. 

 

If you cancel between 6 and 2 weeks in advance, the 25% deposit will be charged unless you rebook within 3 months.

 

If you cancel less than 2 weeks in advance of your intended holiday, 50% of the total quoted cost will be charged unless another booking takes its place within 3 months.
